It is estimated that, for a majority of cases, more than 50% of an SME’s value resides in their Intellectual Property (IP) or other intangibles. Given this, Innovation Tax is collaborating with Moore Barlow LLP to present a webinar explaining how best to commercially exploit your IP and maximise the Government funding and savings available through both R&D Tax Credit and Patent Box schemes.
The webinar will cover:
- IP audits
- what IP / intangibles does the business own?
- the best way to commercially exploit these assets
- the importance of arranging your IP assets before exit / sale
- R&D Tax Credits
- how you might qualify
- how you might benefit
- Patent Box – the financial benefits for patented invention
Presenters:
Annie Hunter of Innovation Tax has many years’ experience advising and speaking on innovation tax incentives (particularly R&D Tax Credits and Patent Box) and has sat as a board member of several industry bodies.
John Warchus, a partner in the Commercial & Technology Law group at Moore Barlow LLP, has more than 25 years of experience in IP protection, licensing and commercialisation and has advised clients across IT, software, manufacturing and engineering sectors on their IP strategies and execution.
The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
The webinar is suitable for company directors, investors / entrepreneurs, in-house Legal Counsel, business consultants / advisors and IP managers / professionals.
